I don't see 4runner listed. I made a similar type for my 4x4 Astro Van.

 

I tend to stay away from any brand with Tuff, Tough or Country in the name.

There's the Hitchgate by Wilco but it's up there in price.

 

I almost ordered it just to see if it'll work.

They need to make these vans again. Pretty sure I would trade the 4runner for a new one.

If the material thickness is decent, it would make for a good start for someone willing to make it right with any needed bracing, bushings, etc. Heck, it might be nice for someone with a steel bumper to do what’s necessary to retrofit it onto that.

But since it’s Tuff Country, it’s probably made from repurposed steel from a walmart swingset.

 

I just went ahead and ordered the restless off-road tire sing out instead.

Ah that’s right, I remember now. Nice! Do you think it holds the tire weight from bouncing the structure? I like the bolt up aspect, even if you though it needs some minor cuts on the bumper cover.

 

I talked to someone that's running it and he wheels hard and has had zero issues. This is going to go on my wifes 4runner for weekend trails, nothing too crazy as she's just now learning how to. I just needed something to carry our full size 35" spare.

Sliders, full skid plates, Panhard relocation kit, and Perry parts bump stop kit all ordered. Can't wait to hit trails in this thing!

I have seen these priced at $1700.
Tuff-Bar shell company was selling these for $599 and I saw it discounted all the way down to $179 here:

Mine is beautiful and says Westin right on it. Came in a Westin box. Don't sleep on these. They will go fast to people that do the research. They aren't junk.
