Looking into some options for camping... normally i would pick a duel fuel generator, but looking into other new age option.

Anyone have any real world experience?

Competitor, not Bluetti. I have an 1800W Ecoflow. Havent really used it much other than a few test loads after i got it last month.
High load (large air conditioner in hot garage) drained it quick but that's expected. It's overkill for little stuff like charging phones and tablets. Haven't tried it on medium loads like fridge or smaller kitchen appliances.
Haven't tried the solar charging yet due to hot weather keeping me out of the sun.

Is the Bluetti rated for moisture at all? The ecoflow i have specifically says it must be kept totally dry.

I'm running all eco flow here, the Delta 2 is backup battery when they had that $1,000 sale at home Depot for both

I current have my fridge mounted in the truck, and the battery is strapped down near it. The battery powers the fridge, 4runner powers the battery. I bought the relay that allows for the full 400w when the truck is running. I net positive while driving.

    AC power for all connections.

I have a 1000w ecoflow. It won't charge off the AC outlet even if you tell it to draw less that the available watts. Mayne the power isn't clean enough?

But it charges just fine off the DC outlet back there. Also have a solar pannel for it.

Works great. I have a small electric kettle for coffee in the morning. Powers a starlink. Phones. Laptops. Awesome addition.

So, played with the bluetti today and it will charge off the 12v charger in the back, pulling 57w (1% per 20min with nothing plugged in) but noticed it draining the truck 13.4v to 12.9V in 20min of "city" driving. It runs of the 120v ac inverter pulling 437w (while telling the bluetti to regulate input from the non-pure signal), but will not run off the 100w when driving.

So, I guess the next step will be the harness posted above to get the 400w while driving and then look into a pure sign wave inverter... 12/24 DC converter... Or pull the trigger on a duel battery set up. Not a major priority as the bluetti major function is a backup for my "cow" freezer.

my Delta 2 won't charge from the AC outlet because the 4R's inverter is not pure sine. It does charge from the cigarette lighter charge port back there.

Is there a setting on the delta 2 that would adjust the voltage? The bluetti has a "grid enhancement mode ... AllowsAC180 to adapt to voltage fluctuations and waveform distortion of an AC source".

It has a setting that allows it to pull less watts when charging. I lowered it but it wouldn't work. I've seen on YouTube someone else saying it didn't work as well due to the power not being pure sine

I’m running an AC180. Had it a couple months but just started using it today. Is something seriously wrong with it. Just running my fridge, which is pulling an average of 28 to 30 W, and it’s killing the battery in 15 hours. Makes absolutely no sense. of course it’s only drying power when the fridge is running, which is about a third of the time.

Stocky stock stock stock....for now. Just got it.

I've been searching the forums all over and it seems like everything I can find is similar mostly to my issue but not always the same. I have the Bluetti AC50S, had it for several years back when it was a kickstarter. Great little power unit, does the fridge just fine so long as we move sites every day and do some charging while driving. In my truck this was never a problem, F150, It would charge at 100w or more plugged into the 12v cigarette port in the rear of the truck.

The 4R is a totally different story. I only have two 12v ports in the 2023 ORP, one in the center console and one in the back next to the AC plug. When I plug the battery into the 12v port in the cargo area, it starts to take a charge, 20w, 30w, 41w, 50w, 60w, 68w, 77w...then zero. It then repeats this cycle over and over again and never really charges the battery. Took a 5 day trip and I didn't realize this was happening because why would a 12v port act this way.

The center console 12v port is better but still not consistent. I plug in there and it will bounce around and usually settle on 100w of charging and stays...just not every time.

So, for the moment, the only reliable way is to also take along the AC wall adapter to the battery and plug it in to the inverter in the cargo area, THEN REMEMBER TO HIT THE SWITCH UP FRONT, and charge it that way. I hate having to remember to hit that switch and will be moving it up a little maybe, some say that helps see it but they still miss turning it on from time to time.

I'm guessing the power in the back 12v outlet isn't clean enough....or...I don't know, I can't make sense out of it.

All this is with the 4R running and in park. The rear 12v seems unaffected with the dash button pushed or not (which makes sense).

My bluetti won’t actually charge from the rear AC power port in my 4R. Word on the street is, the Bluetti requires a pure sine wave inverter which the 4runners inverter is not.
I only get about 73 W of charging power from the onboard DC port. I ended up installing a victron DC to DC converter that will charge my Bluetti just under 300 W. Best solution I could come up with (There are several YouTube videos on the process).
None of which of course solves my problem of the Bluetti not having The power I would expect from a battery capacity of its size.

Interesting that yours will indeed charge though from the DC port in the back. I'd take 75W from that in a heartbeat if it could actually provide it consistently. Mostly I don't want to use the AC outlet in the back because I have to remember to turn it on all the time, but that looks to be my only solution for the moment.
