I have a TRD pro and was thinking of sizing up. Don’t want a significant change and don’t want to have to trim anything. Seems like the 275’s would work.

i thought about it when I bought new tires but stayed with stock, partly because I didn’t want to buy another spare, plus there isn’t much difference anyway.

Trd pros usually get trimmed at port. Might as well trim more to get bigger tires. The amount you have to trim is minimal.

I had to trim for my falken at3w 275/70s. Not a lot though. Also, the falkens are one of the largest 275/70r17 tires. I would stay stock at that point, not really worth it imho

I have 275/70/17s on mine as well - no rubbing, no trimming.

I noticed that a 285/70/17 is about 3/4" wider but about the same diameter. I might try and go with that on a 7.5-8" rim. On the Pro I am hoping that doesn't rub.

285's your going to have so many more tire choices than 275s. All the 275s I have seen are only E also.

My falkens are C load, but still 57lbs, heavier than a lot of 285s. Tread life is baller though
