I owned a 3rd gen a few years back and it had a button on the keyless fob to drop the rear window. I now have a 5th gen ORP and I know it has the buttons on the hatch to drop the window, but it was so nice to have it start going down as I walked up to the truck. Am I the only one?

4th gen had it too. Toyota is weird with their options. Make sure you can't do it by verifying in the manual. My 19 TRD Premium can't because I have a G key.

I miss it, too! It's weird how, in some ways, my '19 ORP is a downgrade from my '03 SR5.

I used the carista device that hooks into the OBD port and was able to program an option to roll down all windows by holding the unlock button, and then have the doors auto lock/unlock when you either put it in drive/reverse or park.
Device was like $10 on Amazon, did the free trial on the app, and IMO the $10 was 100% worth it to have those features that are already on the vehicle but essentially “locked”. Tons of other features you can program but those were the most useful to me.

Here’s a quick video that shows the basics of it:https://youtu.be/eTkuootoPOk

Carista or dealer can program it for you. I’ve used the function like twice in a year.

Is there an option for just the 4 windows to roll down and not open the sunroof?

Mine is currently set up for the 4 windows and sunroof.
