Any rubbing with 255/75/17 on OEM SR5 "snowflake" wheels?

I have a 2019 TRD OR & I would like to run BFG KO2's in this size with my stock suspension. (no lift front or rear) If I were to use the OEM SR5 "snowflake" wheels with the 255/75/17 would I have any rubbing issues ?

Would the TRD Pro wheels, which sit out further giving a wider stance, have less of a chance to rub with the pizza cutters

I want to use a 17"x 7" wheel for winter driving, but before I buy either of the above, I just want to make sure that the 255/75/17's won't rub.

Probably not. It’s a pretty popular tire choice to run skinny 33’s that a couple people on here has. TRD PRO wheels have a greater negative offset compared to the OR wheels, so you have more of a chance of rubbing on the body mount.

Thanks for the reply, but what about the SR5 wheels ? They will be tucked in closer, so will they rub ?

a couple threads on 255/80/17 which are bigger and if they don’t have issues I would imagine you wouldn’t either. The 255 is narrower than stock, and the SR5 wheels are +30mm offset while the OR are +15mm offset. Did you get rid of the wheels your rig came with?

No, I run the "Off Road" wheels in the spring, summer & fall. I want to buy a set of 17"x 7" wheels for winter driving, that is the reason I want to choose between the SR5 or the TRD Pro. But I want to buy the ones that would be better for the larger diameter tire without rubbing.
