Thank everyone. You Never know with cheap knock offs from over seas. I live in the south. Pretty flat sand and dirt here. I am looking for appearance more than performance. It’s a DD with 20% off road.

I have a sr5 T Force 4wd. Only thing left on it that is T Force is the fender flares and wheels (gone soon).

Threw that roof rack and the skid plate in the dumpster. Built my own low profile roof rack.

if you gents think those knock offs are not going to melt in the August heat I will go with them.

    thank you for the help

Just about every single aftermarket wheel on sale in the US is drop shipped from the middle of nowhere China to some warehouse in the Port of Los Angeles where they box them up and sell them in batches.

They all claim that they are built to some type of OEM stringent DOT standards, but that’s just a very basic set of guidelines that just about anyone with a factory in the Chinese countryside can get.

So far I haven’t heard of any that have failed catastrophically or are any worse than wheels you would get from the manufacturer.

Also, I find it strange that somehow wheel manufacturers can be evasive about where the wheels are being made, but just about every other consumer good you have to declare in plain English where it comes from.
