That's the best looking aftermarket head unit I've seen.

Too bad it doesn't sound like it works all that well.

I've been tempted by this as well; mainly because it seems like it would be awesome for using with off road mapping/navigation apps like back country navigator, gaia, avenza, etc... and the fit and finish of it look great.

But... it seems there are a lot of potential flaws and quirks. Some of the things I've read so far that keep me from the pulling the trigger is: taking over a minute to boot up; lag; and the biggest issue for me, is that the audio sound quality is just "meh", but have also heard it can be improved with some tweaking using another app (I'm somewhat of an audio nerd, so this alone is a deal breaker for me). Most of these Chinese head units in general seem to have a bad reputation, and I'm not really seeing how this one will be different; as spec wise it's in line with most of the others.

I would also personally feel it necessary to add a hotspot device with a data plan to keep it paired with too. Sure you could run it off your phone when/as needed, but I wouldn't want to run into scenarios where I want to do something, but can't until I turn hotspot on and wait for it to activate and connect and what not.

    Just my two cents anyways.
