    Hi. I'm currently looking for the aftermarket wheels for my stock 4runner offroad. Black Rhino Stadium seems like would look good on the car. However, I wonder if 17x8.5 0 offset with 4.75 bs would rub the wheels well and suspension at full flex when I put on the 265/70 all terrain? Thank you all!!

    You should be fine. That is the stock tire size on our ORP. I have the same back space and offset on my Tacoma and it rubbed on the small front mud flap and removed that and it’s fine. I am running a 1 up tire size on the Tacoma as a precursor.

    I appreciate u for the input. Do you think trimming-cutting front bumper to accommodate the wheels would void the warranty?

    Looking at the Mamba M-25 for the wife’s rig. They come in a +12 or a -12 in the 17” wheel. Which offset would be optimal on our T4R’s?

    I think whatever offset with 4.5 backspace is the best. Too negative will potentially rub the fender and front bumper. Too much positive will rub the wheel well and suspension. I'm looking at some wheels from 0 to -10 offset with 4.75 to 4.40 offset from black rhino and Titan7 wheels. The only thing I worry is it might void the warranty.

    I ordered a set of these exact wheels in November. I don't see any reason to worry about rubbing.

    I did rub slightly with a 17×9", -6mm offset with stock size KO2's but only while braking and turning. A narrower wheel with 0 offset should pull the tire in just a bit, so I think you'll be fine.

    Worst case, get the wheels and adjust the inner fender and mud-flaps if necessary.

    I appreciate y'all for the advices. I think Ima go with 17x8.5 with negative offset so that I can run bigger tires in the future. Most likely, it will rub at the full flex cuz with stock rims, I can see there not much clearance in the wheel well. I just hope the dealership wont give me any bs to void the warranty.

    If you go with negative offset, you will rub. The stock wheels have some positive offset. 0 offset is your safest bet for running bigger tires. I have 285's and negative 6mm offset. I rub on the outside of the tires and have a ton of room between the tire and suspension.

    Hmm. Now you make me reconsider about it. Haha. Is yours lifted or stock? I just try to avoid the tires damage the internal parts, cuz its easier to trim the fender or switch to winch bumper to have more clearance in my opinion.

    If you're fine with trimming, the negative offset might be ok. I am lifted 2.3 or 2.4" and rub only on the inner fender liner and maybe the mud-flaps. I have a BMC, but I don't know if it was actually necessary. I had it done at a local off-road shop while they were making a skid plate for me.

    It just seems to me that I have extra room on the inside of the tire while I am tight on the outside. I haven't done much research about others' experience, so I might be missing something. :notsure:

    I guess its just me. Haha. I'm paranoid about damaging the suspension, control arms and other internal parts. But, yeah, I found people said It would not, but the sale men said otherwise, so I'm confused. I think with little less backspace, it would be easier to go off road without worrying about wheels rubbing the inside cuz the rims gonna bounce back and fort. Its just my opinion. I might go 0 offset tho since most of the wheels I like have 0 offset. Still undeciding right now lol

    It's probably worth reading some more threads about wheel offset. There might be more useful information than anything I've said. :D

    When I ordered mine they were back-ordered for 4-8 weeks. Just a heads up. I should get them soon, hopefully. I just need to choose tires now.

    Nice. Please post pics after you install it. 4-8 weeks lead time!!! Goddamn. AudiocityUSA said 4-5 days to ship the wheels. Carid has better price, but it would take 1 year (12/28/2021). Only few dealers has set of these available according to black rhino website.

    It could be worth paying extra to get them sooner. I'm just hoping 4-8 weeks doesn't turn into 4-8 months. o_O

    Just double check that the seller has the actual wheels you want.

    Hi all.. chiming in here as well because I’ve also just placed an order for wheels. I’m staying stock height on my ORP.. and had the option to choose between 17x8.5 +0 (same as OP) or 17x8.5 +18. I went with the +18 offset as I want to do 0 trimming and as I understand, the +18 offset is less aggressive. Am I correct in this thinking?

    Correct. This will be less aggressive. I believe the off-road wheels are +15 or +19. You might need to check backspace, though, as now you're bringing a wider wheel closer to the suspension components. Some dealers might have a fitment guide. I think there is a chart somewhere that states what works on our vehicles.

    @Thatbassguy Thanks so much. I’ve reviewed that chart prior and it has helped although it’s funny you mention backspace.. I just went back to check on it and I’m worried I’m gonna have to go with a different option. Backspace on the wheels ordered is 5.46” - I’m guessingthis is likely to rub the UCA or strut assembly?

    That would be my concern as well. With stock size tires at stock height, I think you're safer at around 0 offset. Or, look at backspace and try to keep that close to, but not exceeding the stock wheels' backspace.

    Thanks for the chart. I kept thinking backspace on stock ORP wheels was 4.5. That's why I was afraid 4.75 backspace wheels would rub the inside. Now I know It would not rub as long as I run stock size tires.
