Wife has a 2022 TRD Off Road Prem that came with Dunlop AT20 tires that are really all seasons not all terrain tires. We got thru a least winter with out issue because it was really mild here in WV and because she was off work Feb and March. Tires only have 14k miles on them. I plan on replacing them with Cooper R/T tires later this week. I don't want to trash the stock tires. Thinking of getting a set of after market rims so that I can run the Dunlops in the summer.

Are there after market TPMS sensors that will work? if so what is the cost? Can I mate them to the 4R myself or is that something the dealership has to do. If no after market does anyone have any idea what they run from the dealership?

    Thanks for any help.

New TPMS units from Discount Tire were about 60$ each when I got my new wheels.

The OEM sensors are about $65 each. The 4R will learn them once installed.

Owner's manual details a "Registration" and "Initialization" procedure for new TPMS sensors. Follow those procedures and you'll be good to go. Or whoever you have install your new tires can usually install new compatible sensors and program them for you.

I would just sell or get rid of the Dunlops. They are mediocre at best. Lots of brand new take offs selling for $300-400 for a set.
