ADS coils leaking - hose or fitting malfunction?

    Interesting... I hope those fittings are not made by AeroQuip. Not sure if there is a safe way to remove that hose and leak check it under pressure on the bench. Or at a hydraulic shop.

    They were famous for leaking. They are / were an aviation brand back in the day, but I had AeroQuip fittings on some heavy equipment I operated for a time in the late 80s. Looks similar to what is in the photo.

    See if ADS will send another or order it. You'll have to relieve the nitrogen pressure from the reservoir before removing the hose and charge it back up when you're done.

    I've sent them a couple emails and nothing back.

    I'm past what is probably a 1 year warranty.

    I'm very sure this was my fault. When initially installed the springs kit the hose when compressed and I quickly adjusted the hose. Pretty sure the force of those hits caused this.
