    New member here,
I'm in the process of buying a 2024 SR5 and I was wondering if the wiring is there where a guy could use OEM switches, I would also be adding leather but don't want aftermarket controls.
    Thanks in advance

    no
    wiring is not there
you can purchase the "factory" copy kits, this is the kit that has the OEM switches that go in the lower console behind the shifter.
Roadwire leather is better than the Katzkin but there are others that are better than Katzkin as well.

    I haven't done myself.
How ever I've seen them at the dealership and they didn't look bad. The front seat heat controls were on center console area and rear seat heat controls were on the side of the seat.

keep seat heater out of your balls and prostate - heat no good there. seat heater for women. where you need heater is at lumbar area. any electric heating pad will do it in the winter, since we have 120V outlet

I did my 4th gen a few years ago. Be prepared to removed the upholstery like you're changing the seat skins. Get good quality hog ring pliers and hog rings. Assuming 5th gen seats still use hog rings.

Welcome. :tumbleweed: I replaced the front seat cover on my 2008 heated seats not too long before I sold it due to the leather cracking. Not too bad of a project. And "rwturbo" was right about having a good hog ring pliers!
