So i know that the TRD PRO and Limited both come standard with the automatic headlights on the turn signal stalk. My question is could you add that feature to your 4Runner if you desired or is it more complicated than what one would assume? TIA!

As far as I know it is not possible to add auto headlights to Runners. Someone will mention doing it with a Tundra but a Runner is not a Tundra.

When you guys say auto headlights, what are you referring to? I found out on my newly purchased 21 Off Road that if I have my headlights on and have the highbeams turned on they will auto dim to lowbeams when a car is coming at me. I didn't know this was a feature and it took me a bit to realize wtf was going on. The headlights also shut off after about 30 seconds of the car being off.

Auto headlights like some vehicles have had since the 80s which turn on the lights automatically when it’s dark.

Gotcha. I guess I've never really thought much about them. This car I've just been forgetting them on all the time since they shut off automatically, so they're just always on. I'm missing homelink way more than an auto headlight feature.
