Pop the top off the wheel well covers and you can get to it kind of. Do you have third row or not? Changes how to access that area

    Welcome to the forum.
You should get to that general area from removing some of the rear interior panels, May even get close by taking the rear lamp assembly out.
There are also lots of different PDR tools so I don't know what one your planning on using.

Thanks for the suggestion! I removed the panel behind the rear wheel but only was given access to behind the back bumper.

I also do not have a third row.

I gave myself a massive dent in that exact spot on my old 4Runner. PDR guy popped out the taillight and worked it out to almost perfect. Not sure if you are looking for PDR or not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My buddy bought a suction vacuum puller for 50-$60 bucks from harbor freight to pull his 1/4 out. It did a great job and he got 95% of the wrinkles out. Looks presentable. Or you can just leave it and go with the rugged look.

Vacuum dent remover is good idea. Years ago I hired a guy to fix 12" crease in the tailgate of a Pilot. He used various vacuum tools and it came out fine. Paint was undamaged. He was mobile and did job in my driveway.
