ABS/DSC LIGHT AND WARNING BUZZER??

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED! my 03 limited V8 4 runner
is down right now due to what appears to be an ABS braking problem.

a lexus mechanic used a scan tool the codes come back to the Brake actuator and accumulator pump ( cant drive as the brake pedal is rock hard )

has anyone fixed this problem ??

what was the cause?

I'm told a new complete unit with Master cylinder and acc/pump is around 2700.00

a new accum. pump alone is 1600.

and a used from ebay between 500-700

 

Hello, I am having this exact issue, where you able to resolve the problem? I believe its the brake booster portion that is faulty. I will attempt to locate one at the junkyard today, like you said every piece in the ABS/Brake booster assembly is very expensive.

I know there is a special tool needed to bleed this system once anything is replaced and the lines are exposed to air.
