Took my '92 runner on a drive for the first time since i bought it. finally got the title, and got a moving pass for it, (its a registered non-op) and drove it about 80 miles to set the computer for a future smog test. took it to my old shop i used to work at had them do an oil change and overall inspection.. yeah... uhhh it needs work.. alot of it.. the total repair was a potential $8600.. turns out that every component of the front suspension is shot, the power steering pump is bad, leaking oil and power steering somewhere, both wheel bearings are bad.. and a rear axle seal is leaking into the brake... yay...... Im gonna be doing all of the work, but now i have to figure what route i need to go when i rebuild it... go back to all new OE spec parts, long travel IFS, or an SAS.. anyone got a good brand for parts for of this stuff to look at for this?

It all depends on how you plan to use it. Will you be doing heavy duty off roading, mild off roading, or just as a daily driver? That should answer your question.
