I talked my wife into a four runner in 97 and we bought it. Brought my new born son home in it, he learned to drive in it...a 5 speed no less. Got him through College and now we're thinking of buying him a graduation present. Either a 4th gen or early 5th gen OR just jazz up the 3rd gen and he'll continue to drive it.

We're really not sure what we're doing other then no matter what we decide the 3rd gen stays with someone in the family. We dont get attached to vehicles. Typically we just use them and move on but somehow, for some reason, this one is different and I cant really put my finger on it.

More then likely I will be taking it over so you may be seeing a lot of me. I need to get it back to order.

Me- Almost retired telephone guy, worked almost 41 years. My fun revolves around family, dirt bikes, Jeeping, hiking, exploring.

When I do retire, probably holding off until the chinese flu is gone...... I plan to travel towing my enclosed trailer with dirt bike for about 4 months.
