I inherited a '97 4Runner from my Dad when he passed in 2012 (4 cylinder - Manual transmission). I taught my daughter how to drive a stick and she took it to LSU. A week before school started the area was hit by a massive rain event causing major flooding. The 4Runner was rapped in the flood. Water reached just below the dash board. I had it towed to a friend's shop. He drained the tranny and engine, filled it with new fluids and BAM - It started right up! MY '05 Tacoma is near the end of it's life with over 320k miles.
I'm looking to revive the 4Runner and make it my daily driver. I look forward to talking to you all and seeking your knowledge on everything 4Runner.
    Thanks, John (New Orleans, LA)
