Replacing my rusted out hatch window regulator and offcourse i break two of these. I have a fastener store nearby that likely has the same spec bolt, but what are they? Toyota does not give the thread specs.

Ohh, yes, I should have specified. They are so rusted in, that the two I broke, twisted off at the head, the other two are still in the regulator holder. I may need to drill them. Right now, I have them soaking in PB blaster and will do a second attempt at removal tomorrow.

So going to the hardware store with one of the bolts and looking for a match is not an option at this time.

If your local fastener store is like my local Fastenal, just drop by. They'll have thread gauges (or a board with a variety of threaded inserts) you can use to match it up.

You may need to call the nearby branch first -- not all of them are "retail locations" but some that aren't will welcome you if you give a heads-up that you're coming by.

Thanks, I guess I'll just stop by my local dealer and pick a few up.

This site says it's M6 by 10mm long. Thread pitch at those small sizes will be coarse, i.e. M6-1.0mm
