88 3.v6 auto transmission fills transfercase even after replacing seals

    88 3.0v6 auto,in good mech cond except transfer case prob
    Stock,gone thru this year ( by a really good prof mechanic)with all issues getting fixed except trans/transfer case leak prob. Replaced transfer case cover and chain , and seals between transfer case and transmission ( still it's letting trans fluid into transfer case)
    Hi, my 88 4runner,3.0 V6, is leaking fluid from transmission to transfer case .even after replacing seals between the two?any ideas? Thanks,g

    Hey, currently having this same problem on my auto v6, just made a post on it. Did you ever find the leak or any other helpful tips on working on this tcase? I have not resorted to replacing seals yet as i just discovered the mess and it does not look to be coming from the output seals but I'm not opposed to doing those to prevent future leak.
