Just looking for some suggestions/opinions on sliders/rails/steps.
Wanting something way more solid than the factory step, using them almost daily to load/tie down loads.

So I want one with good step depth, and need it to run full length, frame mount, powder coated. Had Tyger Star Armor on my fj's but wondering what the opinions are on those?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum!

There are a handful of threads about rock sliders. There are some options that work well as a step.

I have RSG and am very happy with them. They have many options to suit your needs.

I just installed a set of these on my friend's 4Runner, and they meet all your criteria. Deep step depth, plated, frame mounted, power coated from factory. Fricking beefy!

Like maybe too much beef would be my only complaint. They were like 60 lbs each.

I use SSO Sliders, also plenty beefy but maybe 10 lbs less each side. I had to have them PCed.

    Budget?

Your best bet will be a straight, no angle rock sliders with filler plates. RSG makes just that.
