I am replacing my 2nd roof rack and when I took my rack off today I accidentally pushed two of the plastic threads into the roof (the plastic tubes that are in the roof that the bolts screw in to) and I don't know how to replace these. I really don't want to take apart my interior to get them back, nor do I know how difficult that would be.

Does anyone know what this part is called so I can find a replacement for it in order to screw the bolts into in order to install my new roof rack? Does anyone have experience with this situation?

I really need to get my rack on before the rainy season begins here in the mid-west.

    Thanks!

Gotta drop the headliner, only way. I would not have known without this forum but turn both bolts out equally to avoid dropping the bracket

Thanks for sharing and for sharing the parts as well. Another friend of mine said he did the same thing but was able to pull the pieces out using needle nose pliers. I might try that or the bracket part you shared if that is a possible fix. Thanks again!
