5th gen low fuel warning light

I’ve owned my 5th GEN 2018 4runner for about five months now, absolutely love it! One thing I always am in tune, with with all my vehicles is how many more miles can I drive after the low fuel warning light comes on, my question is, what is your experience with mileage after the light comes on?

Never see it because I fill at 1/4 tank.

 

It seems like some folks' low fuel lights aren't working correctly, based on another thread.

But, my light comes on when I have around 5 gallons left in the tank. The fuel range usually reads around 25 when the light comes on. When the fuel range reaches 0, there's around 3 gallons left. I usually fill up before this, and stop ASAP if the fuel range estimate hits 0.

 

I try to keep the top half full
