    Hey guys!

I'll tell you why I am here (I'll try my best to give a nutshell version). First, I have never owned an SUV. I have always driven smaller cars (not really by preference- but because those just worked out for me at the time). I am a small female (4'11"), so I fit well in them regardless.
My last car was a 2008 Suzuki SX4. It was a 5 speed, silver, tinted windows, it was sharp! Fun to drive and great on gas. It had issues here and there but never anything major until last summer. Wont bore you with details, but it was going to cost more to fix than what it was worth. That's where the 4Runner comes in.
A friend of mine had recently upgraded to a larger/newer SUV and her 4Runner had been sitting in her driveway for a few months. She told me I could borrow it while I figured out what I was going to do about the car. Well the first day I drove it I fell in love! It was completely opposite of my tiny Suzuki. Aside from the gas mileage, I loved everything about it- the room, the ruggedness, the 4wd, etc, etc. So she offered to sell it to me & boom- now I drive a 4Runner!!
It's not new by any means- 2007 with 250,550 miles (which wasn't much different than the Suzuki I was driving). I knew 4Runners were known for their longevity, so I hope that's the case for mine.
There are several questions I have about this model as well as a few minor things I would like to fix- so you'll be seeing those in forum soon :)

Ok one last part- I have never been part of a car forum before. My husband (ex) always fixed any issues I had with my car (he's a car guy). And although he has offered to still help me with "fixing things"- I decided it was time for me to become independent of that and learn how to do things on my own, so here I am!

And sorry that ended up being a very long "nutshell"IMG-6235.jpg version, lol
