Went out for my1st off road venture in my new to me 2021 4Runner Off Road Premium. My son followed me in his 2015 TACO. Temps never got out of the mid teens F so mud was not present except in the few instances where we broke through ice on small puddles. We had a recent thaw so snow was not deep. Ice was quite a challenge when we got to more remote sections that were narrow, twisting and quite steep in places. I soon found that using the rear locker made it plow when negotiating turns and soon turned it off. Two of the trails started out as "roads" that soon became narrow and a bit challenging. This was in the foothills of the Adirondack.
