4Runner check engine light

Hello,
My 4Runners check engine light and traction off light came on and the code P0412 came on I was wondering what the code could be?
Is it the secondary pump or something else?The truck drives smooth and I don’t notice any dip in performance.So Im lost any help is welcomed.

 

Engine Code TOYOTA P0412: Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve 'A' Circuit Malfunction It indicates that the engine control module got input from the air injection system driver, that the air pump has malfunctioned with an open or short circuit.

 

Thanks for the information!so basically the pump has gone bad then since it got input and it didn’t activate

 

So today I cold started the truck and the secondary pump turned on like it was fine and I checked all the hoses and they seemed in decent condition I even recent the codes and it came back I don’t know what it could be because the truck drives fine and seems to have no faults but it just has the check engine light on I think it might be a failing secondary air valve
