The limited trim offers the best that 4runner has to offer. Toyota only sells it to people who can appreciate that looks are only skin (body cladding) deep, while full time 4wd and ventilated seats mean the rest of the cabin can savor your sanctimonious flatulence.

We all have different preferences. To me TRD with KDSS seemed best of both worlds. KDSS is as good as your X-REAS. And shift on the fly, for me, works as good as full time 4WD

    Yuck.

    ORP is top tier.

GX460 is a better buy than the Limited.

Just my opinion and yes I picked a Limited over vehicles like GX460 for Mrs. And till date absolutely loving it especially in Winter, and more after a snow storm with excellent clearance 4Runners have right from factory.

Agreed. For my use and purposes it was the best choice for me. AWD with a locking center differential and climate control is what sold me. I originally went in to test drive a pre owned 2019 ORP but saw the 18 Limited on the lot wit 30,000 miles on it in near perfect condition and ended up test driving that as well. I thought the limited drove better than the ORP but agree it’s got a face only the designer could love. First thing I did was put ORP wheels and a set of Falken Wild peaks on which helped with the looks in my opinion. Plus tires are cheaper in 17”

Can you not totally get rid of the frontend and get classic Toyota instead? Call a dealer and see what they say
    You can't beat this look

One reason I see non-Limited bumpers don't have parking sensors. very unlikely dealerships drill holes for parking sensors and get responsibility if someone complains that parking sensors were not accurate and hit another object or car while parking.

Ah I see, wow parking sensors. Now we are talking Limited stuff lol. Losing parking sensors for ORP looks is not a good idea in my opinion. OP should enjoy the Limited stuff

    Never quite understood the Limited.

Then again, the Prado isn't associated with being an off-roader overseas to the extent that it is here.

    I mean, look at it...

I thought it was telling when 4wd 24-7 came over that they were surprised at the use of Tacomas (a step down from the Hilux), and even more so at the Prado. I suspect they didn't realize how limited the choices were over here.

I mean, this looks fair dinkum bloody awesome:

    or this:

Shame that trays and canopies cost so much over here.

Ha ha, yeah Limited stuff. Those parking sensors what keeps my wife not hitting the roof box. Me the bad driver without parking sensors have hit the helmets in front of my spot few times  (I'm not very good at judging my corners. LoL)

Limited is for people who like truck based SUVs(There aren't many out there) with creature comforts, some leather and wood, and sensors and all that. GX, LX, and Land Cruisers are very expensive, so Limited 4Runner is the way to go for them. 4Runners used to come in 2WD even, for people who liked trucks but didn't need 4WD

Rich folks who love leather and wood find it offensive to pull a lever to engage 4WD all the time, and they also need sensors to tell them the rest of us peasants are parked around them ;)

I love the looks of the Pro... but man the $15k+ over the ORP isn't worth it.

Don't let my ex know any of this, she got half of my 401K in the divorce, she'd run right out and buy one just to make it look like a PRO and spite me :mudding:

So it's obviously clear that the Prado is a GX460... does it come with the permanent 4WD then?

I bet its all USA work force used to install from wheels, tires, skids, roof rack,...... down to smallest of installing TRD Pro badge.
