I am a new member and I seem to have a problem! I own a 2014 TRD offroad 4 runner. It seems to have been idling low when I come to a complete stop the kast few weeks! Yesterday when I stopped the tac went down to 400 rpm! Sounded like it was going to stall then when I tried to give it gas it stalled! I can hold the gas and start it but it will only idle at 400rpm and won't take any gas! When I push the gas pedal there is nothing and it stalls! Anyone had this problem before or have any idea what it could be!?? TIA

Could be a vacuum leak or a fuel issue. Unfortunately this will need on hands diagnostics.

Also, consider cleaning the throttle body. Apparently, that restores the ‘normal’ idle.

Possibly clogged fuel filter. Can't get enough gas to go above an idle.

+1 for throttle body cleaning as @Slopemaster said. There is a good You Tube video on the subject posted by The Car Care Nut.

It is also posted on at least one thread here on the forum. Search "throttle body cleaning" in the search window towards the upper right corner of the screen here.

Throttle body and MAF sensor cleaning before going down any rabbit holes. It's cheap and easy.
