3RD GEN 4Runner engine and manual transmission for sale

Hi there, I love the Toyota 4Runner community and wanted to ask a couple questions.

- I bought a 2000 Limited 4Runner that has been left for scraps. It was missing the rear diff transmission and engine. Along with several exterior components. Seen in pics. The interior is in very good condition though and I would hate for this 4Runner to be wasted.

I also own a 3.4L V6 to go in it that I bought. I have no idea if it’s working but I was planning on taking it apart and rebuilding it anyways. The 4Runner shell I bought was not meant for a manual transmission but I bought A manual Transmission anyway.

I have become very busy with work and have not gotten around to it. Life has changed and I don’t have the time I used for to have. So therefore I looking for a way out on this project. I would hate for such an awesome truck to be wasted.

So I wanted to ask If anyone is looking for a project like this? I want it to end up in its former glory.

Good afternoon. I was wondering about what location you are in? And also if the trans and engine are set up for 4x4 or 2x4? What would be the price of the trans?

 

- I am in Chattanooga TN.

- I believe that it is geared for a 4x4 I will confirm that.

I think $350 for the transmission would be fair but I would also consider any offers.

 

Dang I would definitely be interested if it wasn’t for the location! Just to far to drive from Florida.
