3rd gen (02) cabin filter ? ? ?

Hey all...
I'm having trouble finding any tutorials about swapping out the cabin filter on an 02 4Runner.
On most of the other vehicles I have owned, there are tabs on the glove box that open it down and reveal the filter.
I don't see any such tabs on mine.
And, I'm hearing some Scuttle that I might not even HAVE a cabin filter?!
Anyway, any and all wisdom y'all might have will be much appreciated.

No, I don't think our trucks have a cabin air filter. I've seen a number of posts in various forums regarding dust, leaves, snow, and so forth blowing into the cabin while driving. I would think a cabin air filter would prevent such happenings...

Yeah, definitely seems that there isn't one.
I should have figured that since there was nothing on YouTube about replacing it, considering there are multiple posts for pretty much every single part of the third gen.
I'm not really having any issues with dirt or dust or pressure , I just was doing some Light maintenance and it came to mind.
Definitely a weird feature not to have though.

"Real" 4Runner drivers don't need such things.

 

I donnow, those Canadian fires make filtration sort of nice! Yes, we DO NOT have one. Our cabins are too small I am afraid.
