That's a fair price. Not sure how much more you'll get off of that, but if you talk to a dealer about any loaner models they have you might find one with 3000-6000 miles on it and get 2-3k as a discount. That's what I got on my SR5 Premium.

    That's a good price.

    MSRP on those are $38,000.

$2,000 off MSRP is pretty solid.

Thanks guys ! I thought I could haggle another 1,000 for a discount . I wasn’t sure if the dealership was speaking the truth about 4Runners are hard to be discounted

New to the forums since I got my first 4Runner President’s day. For comparison I just bought a 2020 4Runner SR5 Premium 4x4 with third row seat and carpet floor mats and tray were the only additional options that came with it. First went thru the Costco Auto Buying program but my Non-Costco cost before sales tax, doc fee $150, and license Washington State was $1600 below invoice. My price was $2600 under the Costco price. I had a 2019 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 DCLB Cement Gray that I paid to much for. If it was a manual I would have kept it, but longbeds only came in auto and the ride was rough and I could never get used to it searching for gear, it was built in Baja. This 4Runner even the non-premiums just feel built so much better maybe because all are built in Japan. I love the lower end torque of the 4.0 liter engine compared to the turbo lag of the 3.5 the third gen Tacoma has even tho it’s not a turbo. I took a hit for total cost of trading in a new truck for another. If I would have done it right the first time for the price, I could have got a 4Runner TRD ORP. The only thing I’ll miss on the Tacoma is the cement gray color, found out having a longbed I really didn’t need it so I have a utility trailer for the 4Runner. If I buy another truck in the future, it will just be a full size. Love the 4Runner even tho i haven’t had it for long. Good luck!

I got about $4K off MSRP, but I took dealer stock.

It's probably worth getting price quotes from several dealers once you figure out the features you want.

    Welcome to the forum.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you waited for the 2021 4Runner (most likely available this October), you could have bought an SR5 in cement gray.

Not a problem on color. Heck I’m thinking in time I’ll wrap it in Black Multicam.

The internet can be your friend. I found a base SR5 msrp $39k marked down to $36K.
Only way I knew about the price was the internet.
When I walked into the dealer the sticker price was still $39K.........
There are some deals out there. The lowest I've seen on a base SR5 4x4 was 36,040.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
$2k more ($38K) and you can have the Off Road with rear locker.
All sorts of trouble you can get into then.

Cheaper than adding a rear locking differential later on.
