Hi there! New member who is in a quandary as to what is causing the 30 amp fuse in the cabin to blow. On my 2000 Limited it controls windows, door locks, seat movement, moonroof and I believe rear hatch works. I took to dealer who replaced a lot of things in the rear hatch, which was stuck shut. I can replace the fuse and everything works like a charm. Then it goes and I don't know what I did. I think I have isolated it to maybe seat movement, but it's blown just after a few times of starting her up. Any ideas appreciated.
BTW, I love this vehicle. Best one I have ever owned. She has 385k miles and I'm beginning to wonder if I can keep her going.

It's a short somewhere. Sounds like a wire is rubbing on something and grounding out.

I would look carefully where the harness goes from the body into the hatch. Those are prone to breaking after a while and could cause a short.

Otherwise, you need to disconnect everything associated with this circuit. Replace the fuse and drive it for a while. If it doesn't blow, then reconnect half the devices and drive it for a while. If it still doesn't blow, one by one, reconnect what is left, and drive it for a while between each one. At some point you will reconnect something that is causing the issue. At that point, trace back the wires and examine them for frays.

If you have anything aftermarket installed, disconnect that first. Aftermarket electronics always cause issues.

Agree with this. Yep, it's a PIA but unless the short location is obvious this is the way to do it.
