So I've noticed that forums on our TW and Tundras sister site have Threads dedicated to armor recommendations but not really on here. I say its time to change that!

I'll start with Coastal Offroad. For the 2nd gens they offer bumpers, swingouts, skids, sliders, and even link skids. All of their plate armor products are offered in 3/16" steel or 1/4" aluminum for those that want to save weight. The bumper also have several options from bull bars to light cut outs as well as an awesome swing out system. This system utilizes a modular construction that allows you to change out your mounts by undoing 4 bolts. These mount options currently include dual jerry can holder, propane tank mount, rotopax and maxtrax mount plus even a dual mountain bike rack.

For anyone interested, you can also use code "SOCALTOYOTAS" for 5% off your order. This code doesn't expire and is can be used multiple times

    High Clearance front bumper:

What do you guys think? I know the market for our generation is limited, but lets celebrate the companies that do make things for us and show them off. Let's see your pics!

I have the BudBuilt 3 piece combo, front and rear skid plates and cross member. The plates are the Lite Steel 1/8” and they are not that light, I have to use a floor jack to remove and install them. They have held up pretty well for the type of driving I do, scratched, dented and bent but they still fit. If the intended use was a lot of rock bashing I would suggest going with thicker steel or aluminum.

I have the Trail-Gear Rock Defense Low Profile tube bumper.

My bolt on rock sliders are from Rocky Road Outfitters.
