Hey all, I'm looking at putting a 3" spacer lift onto my 2018 TRD Off-Road and throwing some TRD Pro Wheels and 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3s on, has anyone done this with a 3" lift before and have photos? Main concern is that wheels and tires will still look a tad bit small with a 3" lift. I'm not worried about rub since I will just do some minor trimming to get around that. Thanks!

Search function works wonders. Common lift height and tire size.

Welcome to the forum! I run a smaller lift, so I can't help with pics. There should be pictures around here matching your specs, though.

I’ve got a 3” spacer lift with same size Nitto ridge grapplers. Check my profile image.

    20200807_200946[455] 4runner.jpg That's a 3" spacer lift front, 2" rear, ORP wheels. 275's instead of 285's.

Again, this looks right where I want them, thanks Toy4x4. I'm getting excited now! Even if there is minor rub, which I've heard it varies from vehicle to vehicle, it won't be a huge problem for me, there are tons of tutorials for minor trimming.

Not a prob. hallj2. You might end up doing minor adjusting of the inner fender, like the heat gun in the rear or pushing/rescrewing in the front. There was this guy (Nimby) who was super helpful when I did it. It's pretty simple mod.... that is if it rubs. I did not even have to do it, but I thought in the future I might put 285's on, then that's one less thing to fret over.

There are a couple different options for the Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 285/70/17 size. What do most people go with for the 4runner or recommend? I'm looking to mount this size to the stock Pro wheels when I get a 2-3" lift here soon and trying to price out the tires but price varies amongst different 285 versions of the AT3w's.

Wondering if I need to get the E rated 10 ply tires or if I can do the C rated. Tread depth is pretty similar on both.
