Been lurking on the forum for a while. I picked up my grey 2022 ORP w/KDSS in December of last year and I absolutely love the thing! It's my daily driver and I am thinking about starting to upgrade some things. The first upgrade I am thinking about is suspension. I'm thinking about picking up a set of these:
    https://www.shocksurplus.com/produc...ocks-set-for-2010-2019-toyota-4runner-4wd-rwd

This would be for mostly on road (95% of the time) with the occasional fire road or OHV park. Nothing too serious. I am mainly looking for comfort, reliability and rebuildability (is that a word? lol). The stock shocks leave a little to be desired and I would like a comfortable ride. I occasionally tow but it's only really up to ~3500Lbs max.

I am open to suggestions and any feedback is appreciated! Thanks

Welcome to the forum from Wisconsin!

I think a Fox 2.0 setup would be a good upgrade from stock. A friend of mine has Fox shocks on his Ranger, and It rides nice.

Also, good choice on the color! :D

Thanks for the response. I think I am going to pull the trigger soon, just looking to see if there are any other suggestions.

I definitely don't need Kings or Icons, but I might still take a look at some other options if they're in the budget

Yeah, Kings are nice. Icons leak. :crapstorm:

Other good mid-grade options are Eibach and Dobinsons. Dobinson has options for any budget, really. I have Bilsteins (6112/5100), and while I'm satisfied with them, it seems like the Eibachs are more popular here.

You'll find plenty of opinions here. :D
