    Hi All,

New to the 4 runner community, though not to Toyota trucks. I picked up my 22' lime rush
TRD Pro on Saturday. 1st impressions are that the color is amazing in person, the ride is very soft, & there is a lot space in this thing. I have driven manual transmissions sports cars since my 1st car, so the handling and responsiveness are an adjustment. Looking forward to learning from folks on the best mods and trails.

    cheers

Wild color and I like it, except it grabs a lot more attention than I prefer in parking lots and on the highway. If I had a 4runner just for trail, I'd probably go Lime Rush. Congrats!

The fox suspension is really, really nice. Don’t go sports car cornering though, it does not quite handle that well. ;)

The C pillar badges are an option? They came stock on my 2021. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Pro without one.

If I was paying Pro prices, I'd sure want the Pro badges.

    I like the no badging.

All auto companies have reached high levels of stupidity when it comes to badging. It's too much. I don't need TRD written on the steering wheel, on the grill, on the sides of the vehicle, on the bottom of the vehicle, on the tailgate, etc. Too much.

Are you sure they didn’t forget the c pillar badge? Never heard of badges being optional.

There was one member who was missing the TRD Pro badge on the lift gate years ago. He didn’t know until another member pointed it out.

My understanding is all that stuff is supposed to be put on at port, so if anything they forgot to install it.

I have to agree with the overdoing of the badges but isn't putting a ton of stickers on your ride just about the same as the badges? It's not just a dealer badge but now it's a rolling billboard advertising products that you may or may not have. Hello car thieves, come and get it!

I digress, I like it without the badges too!

The new Tundra 2022 TRD Pro has badging on ...
    • Top of grill 'TOYOTA' in big letters.
    • Top of front bumper 'TUNDRA' in bigger letters
    • Passenger side dash 'TOYOTA' in big letters
    • Tailgate 'TRD PRO' in big letters
    • Tailgate handle 'TOYOTA'
    • Tailgate '4x4'
    • 'TRD Pro' on the hood (2x)
    • 'TRD Pro' on both seats
    • 'TRD' on the skid plate.
    • 'TRD' on the steering wheel
    • Toyota logo on steering wheel
And out of these, you can't remove most of them without replacing parts.

The badging is out of control.

If you are driving that thing in a matter where the red centerline on the steering wheel becomes important, you’ve already voided the warranty and are about to wind up in the emergency room.

Yep. I built one on Toyota.com and I can't find anything a bout the C-Pillar badge being optional.

The specs says includes TRD PRO hard badges, not badge. The OP's TRD Pro doesn't look correct without its rightful C-pillar badges.

Yeah even if you don't want the badges I would call Toyota. Maybe they will give you some free goodies for forgetting to install the badges at port lol

It will be interesting to see how owners remove the embossed badging on the tail gate.
