I've spent a lifetime growing food for this county. The elastic of supply and demand as it relates to commodities is a hard lesson to learn. I've owned quite a few Toyotas. I had a feeling the 6th gen 4runners would have some supply change issues. The opportunity cost for the buyer is there. Last year of the 5th generation 4runner. Here I was thinking someone was asinine enough to ask an absurd amount for one of the most mass produced vehicles, in one of most mass produced trims. Wouldn't want to ignore the hundreds of SR5P's and even TRDP's across the country that are less.. but since you mentioned supply and demand - it all makes sense now.

 

We appreciate your lifetime of experience in farming. Some of us spent a few years in business and economics classes, so we might have a better understanding of supply and demand. Given the quality of food in the U.S., I’d keep that information to myself if I were you.

Also, I can fly anywhere in the U.S. for less than $1,000, so adding $15k to a realistic MSRP is either trolling this forum or just plain foolish.

Simple. 5th gen’s are running out and he’s trying to get a banger for his. May be possible, they’re great cars. I think it’s a stretch though for an SR5P.
