    Have stock tires on my 24 SR5 ...any issues using those tires (265 70 R17) on ORP wheels. I understand the ORP wheels are 1/2 inch wider.

    Thanks all...what is the biggest tire size that will fit the ORP wheels without any modifications. I do a lot of beach driving and want the widest all season tire.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

    44 inch tires. If anyone else says different they are a damned liar!

    I love TRD ORP wheels. I see no problem other than the fact there is nothing wrong with SR5 wheels either.

    This is an often-asked question. One of the reasons it’s asked so often is that there is not a clear consensus.

    I would say for this specific case of "I do a lot of beach driving and want the widest all season tire." , OP should not do either of that. My reason is;
    1) wider tires will have more resistance / act as a bigger barrier in front of the sand.
    2) all season tire would be weak and have more chance to have a puncture if there is any sticks or similar hidden in sand.

    Even though I'm a wide tire fan in this specific case I would honestly vote for narrow and tall 255/80R17. So OP can air down to have more floating surface been a tall tire and been a narrow tire will have less of a barrier in front of the tire in sand.

    Edit -
    The reason I personally don't like 255/80R17 is 1) because they are load E, reducing on road comfort. 2) I don't like the looks when I look straight. Side profile still looks great been a tall tire.

    What I have found from experience and listening to people who have driven on the beach for years and years , the least aggressive tire tread is best in the sand.

    Get what meets your needs off-sand and as long as you air down for that larger contact patch, I don’t think width of the tire will make enough difference to matter.
