Very nice. This may be an option for those who don't need or want the offroad capabilities of the 4Runner.

I am/was seriously thinking of getting one and letting the 4runner go after I was told to avoid a used Nissan Armada, the latest variant.
My only issues during the test drive were the unsettling ride and tin can build quality resulting in a very noisy cabin. Loved the size, space, engine performance. The starting price is tempting too.
But who am I kidding, I never buy new cars. Going to be a few more years with this bread box then I guess.

    Why Armada?

Cause I cannot afford a used LC200 series Land cruiser.
Armada is based on the Patrol, a direct competitor worldwide and equally competent as the LC.
Plus I need more space and there is nothing else out there other than the new Sequoia.

Makes perfect sense for Toyota to finally have a full-size CUV. Large for my taste so I'm glad the Highlander didn't just grow or be replaced.

Nissan uses cvt transmissions in everything now. My Murano didn’t get 80,000 miles before it started making noise. Almost 7 grand just to buy. I would never buy another Nissan or cvt transmission vehicle again if it can be avoided.

Armada does not have CVT. Comes with standard conventional transmission.
The Armada is not your typical, run of the mill cheaply made Nissan.
It's actually the only Nissan I would recommend any one. I am not sure how much it has been 'domesticated' for the US market, but when I drove the Patrol overseas, it was a rock solid conventional SUV.

I wanted one as well at one time and thought they switched to cvt recently. I stand corrected.
