I searched to see if this was posted already and couldn't find anything. If this was posted I'll delete. Just sharing the 2024 colors coming up for the 4runner.

Lunar rock, MGM, and Lime rush are out.

Why is MGM out?
Beats me also why Limited NightShade was discontinued

 

Wish they will bring back the Sand Storm color.

 

I'm probably one of the few who never cared for MGM.
Always looked purple to me in certain light.
Don't want a purple vehicle.

EDIT: Unless it's a 1970 Hemi Challenger in Plum Crazy.

 

The only acceptable purple is “Plum crazy”

argh, I always screw that up because there was an article about a fully restored Challenger titled “Plum Perfect”

 

Underground pro is awesome

 

Most likely because it didn’t make them enough money. Companies don’t discontinue items that make money.

 

MGM is older than the 5th Gen. About time they mix it up.

Wow.. Purple?

Sherwin Williams Magnetic Gray is a very soothing and calming muted blue-green, gray shade. It works best in a room with enough natural light and surely picks up on surrounding colors in the house

I never found it to look purple to my eyes, but I agree that it is not a nice colour for the 4Runner. It does not accentuate the body lines very well. I liked the light silver 4Runner I originally looked at in 2022 but they wanted too much money for it being a demo with rock chips.

The very last 2022 4Runner on the lot was MGM and it included some extremely overprices wheel/tire and appearance package so I walked away. It worked out though as I eventually ordered a 2023 in the colour I really wanted. Plus I got the new heated steering wheel that started for 2023.

 

Off topic question, I'm selling my sons 2007 civic si coupe. It's in decent shape, stock, 160k miles. Any idea what I should ask for it?

My fav color from non trd trims is white. Too bad wife vetoed it.
In my mind since I had to get black wheels I was only left with lighter colors -- MGM, silver. And I hate silver.

In socal area they go from 8500-10k same mileage.

It's like a dark Nardo grey. No metallic.

And the remark is about a 4Runner. Do you really think if it made them money they would cancel it? That’s how companies work. It it makes money they sale it. If it’s not making them money they don’t.
If nobody but just few thousand people a year purchased a 4Runner at the price they have them listed for they would cancel the whole thing.

 

are there two version of midnight black? one metallic the other not metallic? my 23 limited has midnight black metallic. why would they make that a pro only color now?

Best color ever, lunar rock is gone? I get more positive comments from strangers about that color on my '22 ORP than anything I've ever owned.

 

Underground is a nice color, especially with the silver accents on an ORP. Bronze TRD wheels would look the best against that color.
