    Hello All,
Did I "F" up buying a TRD Sport? Almost every accessory doesn't fit. Even the basic things like mudflaps and hood protection. Is this sub model made differently? Where can I get stuff that fits? Thanks for the help.

Didn’t mess up but you are going to have a hard time finding stuff that fits. Almost everything I add requires more modification than other trims. Got 2 Limiteds

IMO every trim has a purpose. So TRD Sport is for someone who want more comfy ride on road but doesn't want to spend ton of money for a Limited.

Having said that, is mud flaps a real need for you? I'm asking that because in TRD Sport the 245 width tires doesn't poke out and you have a thicker rocker panel to provide a reasonable coverage like having a mud flap.

I don't understand why a hood protector doesn't fit. I thought all 5th Gen 4runners have the same hood. Does aftermarket hood protectors like AVS say it doesn't fit on a TRD Sport/ Limited?

If you are looking at running boards there is a specific running board for TRD Sport and Limited that will clear the thicker rocker panel.

Let us know what other accessories you have problems with.

I have a 2022 TRD Sports. Get the OEM hood protector and AVS in window deflectors. Get OEM Chrome/Black running boards to protect the side paints.
Which other aftermarkets mods are u concerned with?

TRD Sports is the latest trim.
Not designed for off-roading. Its only Part Time 4WD though.

I avoided limited because of the Sunroof.

I run several concrete plants and driving through the yard can be extremely muddy. That cement and mud combination sticks like glue to the truck. I do have the running boards. AVS says the deflector doesn't fit the Sport. The dealer says Toyota will be making mudflaps soon.

You may be running into 'doesn't fit your model' issues due to the year vs. being a Sport model, at least as far as hood protection. The Sport hood is no different than the Off Road or Pro models.

A lot of accessory places don't update their model year compatibility list, seems like for months, when a new model year comes out.

The mudguards are designed for the limited by default.
Its not directly applicable to TRD Sports without removals and drillings.

TRD Sports have mini Mud flaps in the front wells fender
