2023 TRD Pro’s not getting updated wheels?

I saw one a few weeks ago arrive with updated wheels.

 

Maybe ours will be on the same boat!! Lol. Mine is due in September sometime. I hope the newer wheels are on. But you never know.

 

I have 8674C with newer wheels. car delivered May 2023. btw, I wasn't even aware toyota changed the wheel designs....

 

Newer wheel design is easier to maintain. Less plastic to fade.

 

Factorystylewheels.com has flow form replicas that have a better size 17x8.5 0 or -10 offset and weigh less then oem. Just saying

 

That's what my tracker says too! must be on the same train. I've wondered what port they arrive at for midwest deliveries.

 

What's the site showing where you can track the VIN number?

I believe it’s coming from Portland. It’s now August 17-September 4, been adding a day each of the last two days.

 

Do you have updated info with your Vin? I did the tracker but still says the same for my 23 Pro.

 

Not sure what you mean. If you type in your vin on Toyota-tracker.com it will give you a ground (delivery) range if it has entered freight status.

 

Yeah I was checking to see if you had freight status. Mine is allocated for Sept. no news yet. Yours is further along then mine.

 

4Runner arrived today. Asked the salesman to send me a picture. What a disappointment.

 

Yeah I would not be happy with all that dirt sitting on my black paint.

 

Sorry bra, at least it's got center caps. So by that mine should be here in 3 days! (8/20-9-07)

Yeah I agree got center caps but I really don’t want the old wheel on my 23 Pro. Had them on my 17 and 20 Pro. They suck cleaning them. Hoping the new style is easier.

 

I picked my 2023 up about a month ago and these are the wheel/tire combo up here in Canada

 

Mine had the old style, but that’s the one I like better so I’m happy.

 

Bummer. Seems like pretty much all of them now. I still think they're trying to clear a back-stock of old TRD wheels.

 

I called a few other local dealers and they have the new wheels in stock but the center cap is back ordered. One parts department told me they saw 700 orders of center caps on back order.

 

I think I rather them put the new wheel on and run them till the center caps come in.

 

Sorry to see that. What happened with all the white plastic for shipping? Mine had plastic all over it until it got to dealer. Even the wheels were covered.

 

I’ll take them.

 

I noticed the same. That’s odd. All of my new Toyota’s had the white stuff on them.

 

At least Toyota updated the website to reflect the old wheels in all of the Pro pictures.
