    Hey all,
still very new to 4runner... but the mod begins.
I ordered suspension, wheels, tires, and some other parts and the first arrived item is the Anytime backup camera with front camera.

I couldn't find any "how-to's" or youtube videos on the 2022. There were some for the 2020. I bought the kit for 2020+ so I hope nothing has changed as far as the wires go. However, trying to remove the head unit, it does seem like the plastic trim panels have changed from 2020. It seems like it's just one big piece surrounding the temp knobs and head unit, instead of couple pieces.
Does anyone know if there's a write up on removing 2022 head unit/trim panels?
Also, has anyone done this mod to their 2022?

    Thanks!

Thanks! It seemed like one piece to me when i inspected at night haha but it was actually same as other models. Popping out the panel first try was a bit challenging but I got everything installed and it's awesome to have a front viewing camera!

It's anytime backup camera kit. I'll try to take some pictures later when I get home. My wife's palisade has a front camera which is really helpful when parking into the garage. For about $200 for the kit, I think this is an amazing add-on to the truck. The wiring installation was super easy. Two things that got me a bit frustrated was 1) taking off the dummy button below the engine start button. Youtube video showed it easily popped out sticking your hand through the opening and pushing it out but I figured you could easily pop out the engine button panel. 2) I ended up taking the front bumper off to tighten the nut for the camera.
