I have a 2022 TRD ORP ordered. It was built on August 6th. The 2022 4Runner brochure clearly shows it multiple times with the same front end as last years model. But the “Build” feature on the Toyota website shows it with a front similar to the Limited front end, but color matched instead of chrome. Does anyone have any insight on this. I want the old front end!!!!!

It will probably be the regular Offroad front end.

I think Toyota messed up and used the TRD Sport pictures for the Offroad "Build" segment of their site.

I really hope so, but it does have the off-road wheels on it.

They just cut and paste these things together. Look at the passenger side front tire coming out of the front bumper.

I’d guess crappy photoshop on toyotas part as mentioned. Especially because the limited front end is lower than off road, IIRC

What did your salesperson have to say? Hope this works out like you want.

Where did you get an order in? Almost every dealer I’ve checked with says they aren’t ordering until the production cuts end…

I pre ordered a 22 a couple of weeks ago …. The dealer figured between September/October but don’t be surprised if it’s into November

It’s from a dealer in St. Louis, MO. It was actually already ordered, but not spoken for. It was supposed to be built on August 6th, I’m curious to see how long it takes to get to the dealer. I have not seen any 2022’s come in anywhere yet.

Toyota finally updated the site and it has the correct front end on ‘22 ORP now.
    Worries are over!
