Nowhere can I locate this as a preventive maintenance ... only "check for leaks".

So, if there is lifetime "fluid" warranty, this is not the same as a leak.

Is there a PM schedule for a transmission flush?

Check the "severe" service schedule, a drain/fill every 60k miles is usually the recommendation I hear.

you should never flush, only drain and refill. Really shouldnt have to touch the trans fluid until 60-70k under normal driving conditions

I highly recommend a tranny drain and refill by dealer before your 5/60,000 mile powertrain warranty expired. Insist they save or watch them save the drained fluid in a clean container. It contains important clues to tranny health.
At 48,000 miles my 2017 SR5 tranny FlexLock torque converter control inside the tranny valve body failed.
Resulting in a new tranny covered by my 7/100,000 warranty. Due to early mis-diagnosis total charges to Toyota amounted to $8k.
I noticed a beige color in the tranny fluid which turned out to be excessive TC lock up clutch friction lining material from the failing Flex lock system. Eventually the shudder/chatter was very noticable.
