2022 Limited: BSM Compatible Bumper - teaser

There's a new bumper in town.

Parking sensors work. Blind Spot monitor works. Rear clearance is awesome.

In short, if you have a 5th gen 4runner, this should be on your radar.

Before anyone asks me important questions- no I'm not affiliated with Bud Built, no he doesn't give me a discount for telling the world how good his work is, and yes, I unequivocally recommend this bumper.

If you can imagine it, Bud can make it out of steel.

Looks good. I want one so bad but always short on time and the usual cash. I just want one for protection and a little bit more clearance. I don't need the tire carrier, so please please post more pics as the job comes to completion. And don't tell Bud to increase prices...

 

I'm too cheap for a tire carrier. That's the OEM/ stock spare tire carrier. What's awesome is that the bumper has so much clearance you can now see the spare tire.

Does Bud have this one on the website, or is it a one-off custom fab?
Did you decide if you are going to color-match the paint at a body shop or go with basic black?

 

Bud has a template and is ready to sell it. Call him up. Don't wait for the website.

Excellent work again by BudBuilt. Keep us posted and add pictures as start to get really good use out of it.
What's the overall weight?
Did you need new springs/shocks?

 

Total weight is 80 lbs. I didn't get new shocks or springs. No noticable difference in driving except now I have a lot more clearance in the rear.
