Hey guys! Hoping someone here might be able to help!
    I have a 2022 4Runner TRD Off Road.
I'm noticing an odd noise in my front drivers side that I haven't had before. It sounds squeaky, and possibly like something is rubbing together? And it's only on rocky/bumpy roads. Don't hear it on smooth roads. I do hear it more when I turn to the left while driving. Not when turning to the right.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

There are two sources of noises on 4runners that will make you think the suspension is gonna come apart. They make squeaking, creaking and tapping noises. Both are easy fixes.

One is the hood latch and catch. The latch on the actual hood will usually show a shiny metal spot where the lubricant has worn off, with corresponding areas on the catch. Literally put a tiny bit of grease on and around those shiny spots, and the noise will probably disappear.

The second source of common noise are thenrubber splash shields in the front wheel well. Put a piece of tape to hold them still, and if the noise goes away, take the tape off, and replace the push pins with new pins, or just use zip ties, or any other way to fasten them tight. You might be able to get away with pushing the pins in tighter, but they’ll probably loosen up again with time.
