    Considering a used 4Runner with 4WD. Are there any significant differences in the 2022, 2023, 2024 year models?

    I thought by 2022 all 4Rs came with LED high/low headlights?

    Welcome to the forum. Sit down and write a list of stuff you want to add. Mods and accessories. New wheels and tires. Stuff. Cost them out. Add the cost of the stuff to the price of each one. All three year models are almost exactly the same given they are the same model and trim package. Determine which one you can afford. If you can afford the newest one with the lowest mileage, go for it.

    Between the 3 the 2023 would give you a heated wheel on the premium trims. A big thing to consider

    I think push-button start became standard for 2022 so maybe not much on that front.

    Additional sensors were available in the last year or two like RCTA, BSM.

    I think what you’re looking for specifically will take precedence over model year.

    My '22 ORP did NOT have a heated steering wheel.... My '24 ORP does .... and it's really nice to have.

    2023 and 2024 have Heated steering wheel, earlier models don't. This is the only difference between 2022 and later years and every year has some unique colors.

    Heres the catch no matter what year you pick - you can get a 24 for just a little more than a used 23 or 22. So get the newest you can. The resale values are beyond excellent on these, which makes buying one new almost a no-brainer.

    Between the three years listed, get the one with the fewest miles, the least rust, and the most service records.

    Echoing previous statements. Find out what you want the truck for and what you want to do. If you want a warranty, low mileage either year. If you are going balls out,then least expensive of the trim you want. Nothing has changed for accessories that you can't add later. It'll depend on mechanically what you want. Like kdss, etc.

    As far as I can remember from 2020 every year 4runner got new features. I don't remember the list for each year but below are some of the new features to look out for;

    Blind spot monitoring
    360 camera / panoramic view (whatever that system is called)
    Backup camera with projected path
    Heated steering
    Rear seat occupancy reminder

    Not sure if there is more to this that added..
