2020 TRD Pro Mirror Turn Signal harness

I just got my 2020 TRD Pro 4runner a few days ago. I bought it without seeing or driving it, saw lots of photos and it came from a Toyota dealership out in California and was shipped to me. So I talked extensively for weeks with my salesperson out there and when I asked about the mirrors if they had the turn signal in them he said yes they do. I didn't see it on the original sticker though which made me question it.

Long story short, I purchased the kit early before the car arrived. I always put blind spot mirrors on my cars and thought the kit through cartrim that had the mirror and the sequential blinking lights and the light in the mirror would do the job a lot cleaner than sticking a mirror on there. Low and behold the car didn't have them and I read the oldred thread who had the harness he was selling but apparently is no longer. I am assuming there is no other aftermarket harness to do this because I could not find any just what oldred had.

I just wanted to post here to see if anyone had any insight on this or I should just return these to cartrim and get some of my money back.

I saw this video, it’s kinda ghetto how it was done. I would of at least fed it through the original door harness.

 

Old Red is selling the harness again from his Instagram. I don't know if he's out of them yet though as he only makes so many. I purchased them from him when he first dropped them. It was a pretty easy job.

 

I have been checking daily to see if his form on his Instagram page has opened. If you click on it, it says the form is closed and not taking orders.

His option would have been the cleanest route to do this project from what I have seen. I might just hold out and see if the harness becomes available before I try in the video, but I would try to figure out a cleaner method of doing it.
