Wife is going from a Tacoma TRD Sport to a 2024 4Runner TRD Pro. Good winter tires are mounted on the OEM 17x7.5 wheels (she has some older off-roads on older 16”x7 rims now and at trade-in)
Have been searching the forum, but can’t seem to find conclusive answer if the newer 2020+ Sport wheels will fit. Exact same bolt pattern, 30 mm offset. Slightly different design than the 2016-2019 sport wheel.
We plan to stay very stock on the Pro for now, but it would be nice to use some “nice” wheels and Nokians in the snowy season.

[Update: similar post created in 5th Gen forum…this wound up here through my newbie ineptitude.]

You should ask in the 5th gen section.

All other things being equal (17x7.5, 6x5.5, 106.1mm hub diameter), the Tacoma offset of +30, compared to the 4Rs of +15, means the inside of the Tacoma wheels will be 15mm closer to the suspension, which is a little more than a half inch.

I understand that, but what’s new to me is that it seems the 5th 4Runners have slightly different brakes than the 2nd or 3rd Gen Tacomas, so some wheels that fit Tacos don’t necessarily work on Runners. Conveniently, almost any Runner wheels fit on a Tacoma .

+30 offset may not clear the 4-piston front calipers on the 4Runner.
