2020 Heater Control Assembly

Will this set of controls be plug and play into a manual control system?

There's been a number of threads about this, on other forums at least, that this is not possible. Long story short, there is more to it than just changing out the controls.

 

Manual controls means it’s cable operated. Dual zone is an electronically controlled air box. There is no chance that will work as plug and play. It’s would be a complicated, costly, and labor intensive swap To try to add electronic dual zone HVAC.

 

I get that there is more behind the controls. This is an a/c control piece from a 2010-2013 4Runner. Looks like there isn’t cables coming out the back, rather a plug.

 

what you’re trying to do is the equivalent of slapping a V8 logo on your engine cover and expecting it to work like a V8.
